I was accompanying Kathyjem for a photoshoot at Utusan in Bangi..so tau la..by the time habis..dah kul 3pm..Perut dah keroncong..lucky had a big breakfast..

So asked the makeup artist what's good around here and she suggested this Restoran Sup Urat Keting.

Pernah la dengar kedai ni..tapi never got the chance to try..tak salah it was featured in JJCM..

Apa lagi..bukak Waze and search for the place..kat Seksyen 7, Bandar Baru Bangi.

Sampai je trus tanya ada sup lagi tak..iyela kul 3 lebih dah..nasib still ada lagi..pheww...

Food lain pun ada kat sini eg satay (dengar kata best) & masakan kampung.

Sup dia ok jugak..tak terlalu pekat & berempah..rasa masam2 pedas..yang special nye urat keting tu la kan..mana la nak carik kat tempat lain..tapi tak cukup for me to travel all the way to get this soup..kalau ter ada kat area Bangi maybe..
So sapa yg dekat area Bangi boleh lah cuba ye..kalau jauh..maybe it's not worth it. :)

Absolute Thai

Being a fan of hot & spicy food, so when it comes to Thai cuisine memang tak bole tolak la..

First tried out this place kat Ikano..but now there's an outlet in One Utama..

Absolute Thai is simply amazing serving authentic Thai dishes..superb..

So what's good here? The Tom Yam la of coz..

Kerabu mangga for me is just average, still ok la.. Steamed siakap nampak sedap..tengok gambar mmg meleleh dah..tapi tak order coz it was just the three of us.. Maybe when its a party of 4 or 5 bole try..

Dessert pun sedap, not too sweet so bole enjoy makan..my fav is the waterchesnut..

Price wise..average dish price dalam belas2 ringgit..normal la for a restaurant kat mall kan.. :)

Tapi still worth it coz sedap2 dishes dier..

Menu yang two thumbs up..ada gambar..baru la tau mana yg menarik..

Also has chef's recommended dishes (ones with chilli logo)

Really really love the deco of this place..letak gambar frame banyak...memang my fav..
Kedai pun full house..and this was at 3pm..

Tom yam seafood (RM26.90)..superb!!!

Stir fried chicken with oyster (RM16.90) - tak pedas coz its for my niece

Kerabu mangga...very refreshing..yg menggerutu tu is crispy catfish  (RM15.90)

Saba Restaurant - Affordable Arabic Food

Nak kata I'm a big fan of Arabic food,tak la sangat.. tapi this one is an exception..Been to a few arabic restaurant so far, and this is one of the recommended..simply cause of its taste & price..

Tapi location agak jauh sikit for me, its in Cyberjaya..tapi those yg around Kajang or Puchong tak la jauh sgt..

Time sampai kedai around 6.30pm.. so dinner crowd belum sampai lagi..nice..kalau tak crowded tempat ni..Dalam awal2 ni pun org tak putus jugak yg datang tapau...

Baru tau..ada outlet in Setiawangsa..so dekat sikit dari KL

FYI..Origins of Saba..

For me, I tak tau apa beza antara Kabsah, Hanith & Mandi..tgk gambar lebih kurang sama jerkk.. Hantam sajalah labu..kekeeke

Mula2 tak tau jugak apa yg diorang dok ambik ni..rupanya kuah dhal..yerlaa..tekak org Melayu kan nak nasi berkuah..so diorang improvise la..bagi kuah kat sini..good job..

Dua2 nasi dia cam sama je..but rasa memang best..kalau nak pedas..siap ada hot sauce atas meja..

Mcm biasa la..portion Arab ni memang besar..order sampai dua end up makan satu pinggan je..so satu lagi tapau..:)

Sambal arab- rasa masam , bawang & pedas sikit

Custard - dessert yg simple, not to sweet..i like.. (RM5)

dr. CAFE COFFEE

Worlds Best Coffee - so it claims...to be honest, its not to my taste.. We're here solely cause hubs bought a groupon deal where you pay if i'm not mistaken RM19 and get a voucher worth RM40.

The chain originates from Riyadh,Saudi Arabia..so far there's about 10 outlets in KL, we went to Solaris Mont Kiara outlet. 

So here's our choice..

Ice blended mocha & cafe latte - mocha is just ok, while latte is good

Oreo cheese cake - little too sweet to my liking

Chocolate cream cake - also too sweet

So all in all, coffees is just ok, while cake is too sweet. Hmm anyway got another voucher to use, so we'll opt for coffee only.. :)

Dangau Anis Putri Corner - Pantai Dalam

Persoalan yang paling senang, kat mana nak carik makanan Kelantan yg paling sedap kat KL? Pergi la kat tempat yg ramai org Kelantan duduk..hehhe..so to Pantai Dalam la kita..

Its been a while since last makan kat kedai ni, Dangau Anis Putri in Pantai Dalam. Nak datang senang je..cari komuter station Pantai Dalam..then go straight ahead..nampak la kedai ni on your right..

Paling best kedai ni apart from lauk pauk yang banyak is the ulam-ulam..Mmg hantu ulam, so bila nampak mcm2 jenis daun2 tu..sumer nak ambik..cicah pulak dengan budu & tempoyak..two thumbs up...

Tips nak makan sini, jangan datang awal sangat..nanti lauk tak keluar semua lagi..lewat sangat pulak dah ramai orang..so dalam kul 11.30am-12pm tu just nice.

Kedai pun dah banayk kali transformasi..makin besar & selesa...but i miss the dikir barat perfomances..dulu ada port dikir barat kat seberang dia..now dah letak meja makan so no more la.. :(

Sekeping Tenggiri - Home away from Home

This was actually my surprise anniversary gateway for last year..hehehe but still nak share jugak cause this is such a lovely & awesome place..

Semua ni hubby punya plan la..siap ikat tutup mata lagi..he said wanted to bring me to a special place for our anniversary..punya dia nak cover line..drive la round and round..almost one hour jugak la..dalam kepala ni ingat kat PD ke, iyerla..mata dah tertutup..berdebar la jugak..hehehe

At last when we arrived..saw this house between a row house terrace houses..hmmm kat mana pulak ni.. tanya hubby tak nak jawab..scan around the area..last2 nampak bangunan TM Pucuk Rebung tu..hmmm kantoi.. kat area Bangsar rupanya..wahhh..memang tak sangka2 a place this beautiful is just around Bangsar..woooowww...

This place is called Sekeping Tenggiri..its part of the Sekeping project by Seksan Design..Seksan ni is one of the famous landscape architect in Malaysia..Tenggiri is because its located at Jalan Tenggiri, Bangsar.

Its actually a double storey terrace house, fully demolished and built from the ground up by Seksan..hasil nya..this wonderful and minimalist style house..memang jatuh cinta..hmmmm

Inside there's 7 bedrooms yg boleh sewa..we took the one with pool view.. but the beauty of it..we went on a weekday so theres no one else around..so got the whole house to ourselves..yeeehhaaa..

Tempat ni kalau nak buat private party pun bole..you can ask them la..

This place is perfect for those yang nak release tension ke..or do a quick getaway with your loved ones.
